Bar & Cookhouse In Wimborne, Dorset.

Wimborne Dancing Moose was the second of our venues to open its doors, and although it may be small in stature, its large in personality.

From a sunny garden to sit, soak up the sun and sink a couple of pints with friends and family, to a roaring homely fireplace ready to warm the cold from your bones, there’s two floors of dining space and plenty of room for dancing. It’s our most diverse venue to say the least!

We’re here to make sure you can rest your legs after a long day of walking around the Minster. If you’ve bought the pooch too, well-behaved ones are welcome with us! As long as you don’t mind us making a fuss of them, there’s water bowls and the occasional treat available at the bar!

Whether its breakfast with your loved ones, a coffee to wake yourself up, or a spot of late brunch – we’re open every day. Come in, sit back and relax with us! If you’re visiting us for a lunch, we’ll be serving up delicious dishes, including wraps, sandwiches, salads and small plates, from 12PM. From the smallest appetites to the hungriest tummies, there is something for everyone.

Looking to get your hands dirty? Join us for wings – hot, half kilos of fresh cooked chicken wings, where the hardest decision you’ll have to make is which flavour to go for – Korean, BBQ, Hot, Bourbon or Garlic and Parmesan? We’ll provide hand wipes for the clean up, don’t worry.

If burgers are more your thing we have our Signature Moose burger, with melted cheese and Dancing Burger sauce, or the Vegan Planted burger – with Moving Mountains patty, caramelised red onions and veganaise, they’re all half price.

We make it feel like the weekend no matter what day of the week it is!

Looking for someone else to take the stress out of your weekend? Join us for our famous family roasts – with roast beef, crispy roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, seasonal veggies, a boat of gravy and the best yorkies you could ask for – it would be rude not to! Book your table to make sure you don’t miss out.
